ME AND BOOKS

Hello everyone! Wassup?
Today I am doing a very different blog post. I know I say this almost every single time BUT I mean it. 

Ok, so if you didn't know already I am true book lover. I LOVE BOOKS, I LIVE FOR BOOKS.
Recently my reading has increased even more! I am trying to try out different types of books and honestly, I LOVE IT.
If you know me well, I am not very spontaneous with anything really. But with books I can be :) 
So trust me, coming from a person like me I mean it!


    Visits to bookstores are like Paradise on Earth                            

I can easily spend hours in a book store. There's just ALWAYS something you haven't come across.
And then I spend even more time then usual ;P 

I buy most of my books from Jarir or Virgin.But if I am looking for a specific book I usually end up ordering it online. I don't have any specific website where I look for books either but in the end, I say Amazon is the most trustworthy website to order and on top of that, you find almost EVERY single book on the earth on Amazon!

I know I said that I love being spontaneous with books, but most of the books I know are young adult books lol.

I love classics too tho! My favorite genres have to be Fantasy, Adventure & Mystery. Surprisingly not too much into Sci Fi books. It's weird because earlier I thought I was. However, The Martian is an exception ;)

Ok, is it just me who prefers Paperback covers over hard covers?? I know I know how hard covers last so much more but its just not convenient for me! FUN FACT- I feel EXTREMELY bothered to open my books more than 90 degrees haha, if i open it more I feel a rip crack haha 

I love reading book series ( and also watching TV series *ehm ehm The Flash**)

There are so many series I want to read! But till now, Harry Potter and Chronicles of Narnia are the most EPIC series I've ever read! Any recommendations? Lemme know :)

Overall, reading is a therapy. I love reading. Reading is one of the best thing's I've ever discovered <3

LET'S MAKE THE BEST OF THIS RAMADAN

Heeyy Everyone! Wassup?

Ramadaaaaaaaaan Kareeeeeem!

The blessed month is here and lets make the best out of it! Ramadan is the most exciting part of the year where we Muslims, get to fast and increase our Iman In Allah.

Ramadan is very precious and the fact that you're getting to live this special time of the year is indeed something we all should be thankful for :) Alhamdulilah

So now that Ramadan's here, what's in your mind? Well, increasing our Iman and Taqwa ofcourse!
This year and this month, Allah is giving you the chance to become a Better Muslim/Muslimah.
So let's make the most of it.

Let's go through a few tips, shall we?



1.Having a healthy, yet filling  Suhur

Having something too heavy which makes you feel like dozing off is not going to help.Instead try having something nutritious yet filling. You can include starch but to boost up that energy, add a few vegetables or fruits and make sure to drink lots of water.


2. Wake Up Early and Sleep Early

Ok, I know it's Ramadan and everyone's routine is "hsgcyuqwhjdahuhdui" yup. haha lol
But the key to productivity is waking up early and feeling fresh and going to sleep early.Our fasts can seem very long, but if you feel sleepy try taking a nap between Zuhr and Asr for an hour MAX.
However, sleeping can be tricky cuz we all have different "ibadah' timetables right?
But if you wish to stay up all night, sleep right after Fajr.


3.Good Iftar

The fact that you can finally eat, is beautiful.I know.But there's always a healthy way to consume.Try breaking your fast with dates and water and head to prayer, then come back and eat!


4.Do that ibadah 

Well, this is what Ramadan is for right??? Devote yourself to Allah! Pray, Read Quran, Repent and Ask Allah, after all this is the month of blessings.


5.Keep away from your Wifi house, AKA THE PHOONE

We all might stick our heads in our gadgets to pass time just to get through time till Iftar, but honestly that's not what you should be doing.There's so much more you can spend your time in a better way- you can read an Islamic book, read Qur'an, Help out etc.

Probably Harry Potter and the Deathy Hallows Part 1 and 2!


4) Least favourite movie?
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.There's SO MUCH MORE in the book that they've missed out on!

Ok so my favourite quote has to be

Obviously Hermione.She is epic and the BEST female character. It's almost like I HAVE A CONNECTION WITH HER.


8) Favourite villain.
DRACO MALFOY. I don't EXACTLY consider him as a "VILLIAN" but he's awesome.Just AWESOMENESS.Also, Snape!


9) Favourite male character?
Ron and Neville for SUUUUUURE! Their amazing! Ron is just hilarious and gets me all the time.Neville, he's so brave! I mean like he's facing his everyday fear, Snape.<3


10) Favourite professor?
It's definitely McGonagall.She's... She's.... just awesome.


11) Would you rather A) wash Snape’s hair or B) spend a day listening to Lockhart rant about himself?
Come on its to wash Snape's hair duhhh... I think I might just end up dead while listening to Lockhart.

16) Is there a character you felt differently about in the movies?Yup, Ginny.I think that in books she's so much more fun and amazing, but in the movies, not that much :(

Nope, I mean all books are EPICC, no no no no no no Movie can outdone the book.



18) Richard Harris or Michael Gambon as Dumbledore?
I think that both of them did an amazing job, but Michael Gambon a bit more.I feel he's more "Dumbledory" ya know? lol



19) Your top thing (person or event) that wasn’t in the movie that you wanted there the most?
There's so much I can't even tell. But,in Prison Of Azkaban THERE WAS NO EXPLANATION of how it was Pettigrew who was the actual person who betrayed Harry's parents, LIKE WAT EVEN! The book had like 20 pages explaining that, and I got everything sooo much more.



20) If you could remake any of the Harry Potter movies which would it be?
Definitely, Order of the Phoenix. The movie was LAAME.It had soo much missing!



21 Which house was your first gut feeling you’d be a part of?Gryffindor. I FELT a connection that, I'VE GOT TO BE A GRYFFINDOR!



22) Which house were you actually sorted into on Pottermore?Gryffindor!



23) Which class would be your favourite?
I’m really interested in Defence Against The Dark Arts and Arithamacy!



24) Which spell do you think would be most useful to learn?
Accio. I’d never have to move again.



25) Which character do you think you’d instantly become friends with?
Ron or Neville. Ron cuz- Spiderphobia and the HUMOR!  Neville cuz- We'd share our fears together and EMBRACE THEM!



26) If you could own one of the three Hallows, which would it be?The Invisibility Cloak. How useful would that be?



27) Is there any aspect of the books you’d want to change?
Yes I would have Harry not name his child Albus Severus but Sirius Albus OR Severus Sirius *I know alot of S's but SIRIUS HAS TO BE THERE*



28) Favourite Marauder?
SIRIUSSSS! I CRIED WHEN HE DIED! He's sooo adventurous,understanding and caring! He's BAE! 



29) If you could bring one character back to life, which would it be?
There are SOOOO Many ppl I want to bring back to life! Snape, Sirius and Fred THE MOOST! I CAN'T CHOOSE ONE.

Hallows obviously. Why become immortal when I can just become the Master of Death?

THE BOOK TAG

Wassup Everybody?
Back at it again with a new blogpost YESSSS.

If you didn't know already Iam a bookworm, and BOOKS mean EVERYTHING TO ME.
So why not do the book tag?

Lets get started!



1.Do you have a certain place at home for reading?

Well, I do usually read in my bedroom but reading anywhere else works just as fine!



2.Bookmark or a random piece of paper?

I usually have a bookmark, but when I don't I fold in a sticky note and write down "You were reading here" so I guess both.
An easy quick DIY hehe 



3. Can you stop reading anytime you want or do have to stop at a certain page, chapter,part etc.?

Nope. Definitely at a certain chapter or page cuz it helps me to recollect what all I've read and I overall just prefer this better.



4.. Do you eat or drink while reading?

Very rarely even though I  get hooked up with reading, I try to prevent this as much because I am scared of dropping something on my precious book haha . BUT sometimes when Iam ultra curious to know what happens next and I am having something, I end up reading.



5. Can you read while listening to music/watching tv?

  NOPE. I NEED SILENCE.



6. One book at the time of several at once?

  Usually one book at a time.



7. Reading at home or everywhere?

EVERYWHERE lol 



8. Reading out loud or silently in your head?

Usually silenty, but when I feel funny I end up acting like the characters lol  #iadmit #true



9. Do you read ahead or skip pages?

I CAN NEVER, I MEAN EVER SKIP PAGES. 




10. Breaking the spine or keeping it new?

 Keeping it new, I feel a pain in my rib when I break the spine haha #weird 




11. Do you write in books?

No. WHY WOULD I DO THAT?

A NEW BEGINNING?

Wassup? How's everything with you?

So, I know I am back here after a looong time,but I want to let ya'll know that this will be happening once in a while cuz SCHOOL.

YUP.

AHA.

YOU CAN PROBABLY RELATE.



Since I am in a CBSE based school, Jan, Feb and March are the most compact months.We have revision and main exams that we have to prepare for which will mainly promote us to the next grade.So yah, this time is basically the end of our year and alot of effort needs to be put in which is pretty weird because most of the school/universities through out the world have their beginning around Fall.So please don't mind that!

Anyways, TODAY ama be talking about something NEW.Something I've never done on my blog-
Well, I will be starting to post videos once in a while! 
YES! 

Video filming and editing is one of my greatest hobbies and I love to film and edit whether Iam going to post it or not.So yah! 

What do you think about this idea? Remember, I will still be blogging cuz thats also one of the things I love to do! AND NEVER SHALL I BETRAY IT.

UNBOXING PAPER PANDUH SURPRISE BOX

Hey everybadayyyy!! 

Wats sup? 

So today's a completely different blog post! It's an UNBOXINGGGGGG! 

So I am going to be showing you what all I got in the paperpanduh's surprise box! 

Paperpanduh runs her own business where she sells ADORABLE stationery items and stuff. So before you proceed make sure to check her blog here:

So let's get to the UNBOXING. 

   This is how it looked when I opened it, her card was placed on                                                         the top. 


                         Here's a closer view on the card 

Once I removed the tissue wrapping I SHRIEKED inwardly. 
  My eyes were overloading with THE MOST ADORABLE                                             THINGS EVER.

                  Now have a closer view to all items inside! 

         It's a pencil pouch in an owl shape:) and love the color!! 

           Next were these adorably printed sheets that I received. 

   Also I then received two cards with quotes written on them! 
 This says "the things you are passionate about are not random,                                       they are calling you" 

                   And this says "no one else can do what you do" 
                       I can't wait to hang or frame them ^_^ 

        After that, I got this alphabet sticker booklet which I am crazily excited to use, they have 4 different  types of fonts in them-

           Ok first, let's just talk about how useful they can be?
     They have more than 1 letter for each alphabet which makes IT                                  10 times EASIER TO USE!!  
                            And ya they are definitely cute<3





Then I got my most favorite things ever! WASHI TAPE . YAS. 

         There is a set of 3 which are adorably wrapped in a bow 
          and have 3 patternsA heart shaped one, a polka dotted                                      one and a really cool diamond shaped one.

                            I got this hexagon shaped one 

               As well as this really  delicate, pretty washi tape! 

And finally SOME SCRAP PADS! They are just like sticky notes, but only cuter! Love em

So those were the items I received in my surprise box! Everybody's surprise box is different- like my sisters and mine are two completely different. I think it's an awesome box and am planning to buy more from paper panduh!

HIGHLIGHTS OF MY ROOM

Hey everybadayyyy! 

Whatsup? 

So today's blog post is kind of like a "photo blog" Iam gonna be talking about the highlights of my room! By that I mean, the things that are more noticeable, and few things that people liked. So I thought of showing it to u all for inspiration, ideas and much more! 



1.TWINKLE LIGHTS AND PHOTO HANGING 

So, I've been having this type of decor from some time now, like a few months, and I LOVE IT. Iam so thankful I got to buy these and it's just YAS. They make ur room soo much more prettier and nicer, u know? So i put these lights up above my bed!

And to add a bit of PIZAZ, I put up this photo hanging, which I customized myself with polaroids. 

Out of them some are my pics, and the others are some quotes and stuff. 





2.NIGHT STAND 



So, I can't say that my night stand is a "highlight " of my room, but it is pretty useful! So either way I decided to show you :) 

So at one end, I have this block letter "N" which is all floral <3 and beside that I have this adorable globe from Dubai which has a camel with shopping bags lol haha! ^_^ 






And at the other end, I have these nail polishes for display (sometimes use it :P) and beside that is a tiny fayancy chair! Haha. I use it for my IPod to stand and stuff 

This is actually pretty useful, so when I lift it up there's some space where I keep my Jewelery like ear rings, rings, small necklaces etc. 





3.HYGIENE CORNER 



I know I might sound kinda dumb, but I decided to choose a corner of my room and keep all my "hygiene" care stuff and I like it! It's just easy to reach for, cuz it has all my hygiene care stuff at one place so it makes it easier to reach for! 

So here I have my deo, makeup wipes, normal wipes, baby lips, tide to go stick and my specks cleaner



4.STORAGE TRAYS

When  I got to know that storage trays exist, I have them ever since. 

I have a tray placed on my dressing table, and it's again easier to reach instead of checking in a million drawers.

In this tray, I have a perfume, sunglasses and some bracelets! 



5.BOOK SHELF 

If u didn't know already, I am a book worm, so duh I will have millions of books! I think that books look AH MAZING in a room, so I decided to show you guys one of my shelves! 

                                     What do u think? 



6.SANITIZER CORNER 



So I am obsessed with the so called " sanitizers", they come in a part of my hygiene corner. But I decided to keep them separately just cuz I have more than one.

                    Here are my most frequently used ones! 

                             ROOM TIP

Did u ever want a room that looks cute? Maybe something you saw on tumblr or Pinterest? Well, don't worry girl I got u (YAS) 

I was obsessed with the room decor and lay out and everything! And I used to be very unthankful for the room that I had. And there was ONE technique which I learnt over the couple months. You don't need to buy cute and expensive things! Don't do that to yourself! If you didn't notice already. 

In this blog post I displayed the things which I already had. Which means, you already have cute stuff! They're just lying in your drawers or something! Take them out and display it! You're room will transform! All you need is the right thing and the right place :) 

Also, if you're planning to buy some cute things for your room, try to see if it is actually useful! Remember that tiny chair you saw in this post? It was actually useful cuz I could store stuff in it , and try to recall all the things I displayed, they were useful! This way, decorating your room will also be budget friendly! 

Some examples of displaying items- 

There's sunglasses, eos's, stationery, Jewelery, perfumes, and so much more!

Yes definitely! I think it suites me and is just more "me" you know? 


2.What age would you like to be now? 

It's funny cuz I like my current age, I think that it's just right. (Am 13)

Yes! I have 2 adorable parakeets. A male and a female. Male- Lui

Well, I just said it! Since it's my hobby Yes!

Gonna be honest with you guys, when Iam mad, nothing functions in my head. So I just rush into my room, and TRY to think what I was mad about, why I was mad about it and what can be the solution. But sometimes I also burst in tears, so yah. #embaressed 

11.What word do you catch yourself saying a lot? 

Wellllll, it's kind of a routine now, I always say "IAM DYING" when something happens like whether it's exciting, shocking etc. I know it's so "13 year old ish" but watchya gonna do.

12.Mcdonald's or Burger King? 

McDonald's 


13.Coke or Pepsi?

Iam not a soda person AT ALL. So none. But if I have an option ONLY between these two I would probably go with Coke. 


14.Summer or Winter? 

Definitely WINTER! 


15.Are you nice to everyone? 

I try to be, but am not perfect so I do mess up sometimes. 


16.Do you like swimming? 

Yes! 


17.How do you do your hair most often? 

Tying it up in a pony! Just something simple that won't take much time and you can even dress it up by adding cute pins, hair bands etc. 


18.What city or state do you want to go to? 

In my country where I live, I would really want to go to Abha or Tabuk, since it's pretty cold there and I LOVE WINTERSS

Cookies and Cream.

Well, it's OKAY.
